Solutions to Fix iPad Won’t Start

1 Fix iPad Won't Start via Apple Support

This is perhaps the most ideal solution when the problem is caused by a hardware problem. If you suspect that the screen is broken or if the iPad suffered liquid damage, contacting Apple support might be the only viable solution.
You can send the device to an Apple store where technicians will take a look at the device and fix it for you. This solution may be costly although you may be able to get the device repaired for free if it is still under warranty and meets the requirements for free repair.

Option 2. Fix iPad Won't Restart via iTunes Restore

Restoring the iPad in iTunes may also help fix the problem. Here's how to do it.
Step 1: Open iTunes and then connect the USB cable it.
Step 2: While pressing the Home button (top button for iPad models with Face ID), connect it to the device. You should see the recovery mode screen on the iPad.

Your iPad may fail to turn on if the battery is completely drained. Sometimes when this happens, you may be unaware because the device may not even have enough power to display a "low battery" warning. Also Read:h33t proxy

Therefore, try charging the device for at least 15-30 minutes undisturbed. As soon as the battery is sufficiently charged, the Apple logo will pop up on the screen. Now try turning it on after you see the Apple Logo.

Option 5. Change iPad Lightning Cable and Charger

If the iPad will not charge, consider using a different lightning cable or charger. You can borrow one from your friends or family. You can also try charging their device using your charger or lightning cable to determine if they are working correctly.
If the cable and charger are working correctly on another device, then it is likely that your iPad is the problem and you may need to fix it. If the charger won't work, consider buying a new one.
